Pastor Jeffrey V. Ilagan, your missionary in Baguio City, Philippines is married to another lady missionary, Sis. Bethany 'Nhing' Perez, from Isabela, Philippines.
We got married on May 26, 2006 and were blessed with two precious souls, Beah Jamaica (one and a half years old) and John Lawrence (3 months old). The place that the Lord put on our shoulders is Baguio City, a place populated by the most respectful and shy tribesmen of the mountain province of Northern Luzon, Philippines. All the while I thought my burden was somewhere in Thailand or China, only to find myself planted in God’s vineyard here in Eagle Crest, Bakakeng, Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines and know as the City of Pines!
Please visit our blog and see how our church which is turning six (6) years old this coming November 30, 2008, looks like and see our friendly folks greet you with their candid smiles! Who knows, someday, before you know it your visit in this blog would mean your interest in our place, and just wake up one day in one of our dwelling houses here. Baguio City is very much like America’s San Francisco, with its pine trees, cold climate, long winding roads sometimes bumpy, people biking around the place, etc., etceteras!
This blog is for the glory of God, we want to share how the Lord helped us care for people in the uplands, we see how the Lord took care of us, one day at a time. We don’t believe in solicitation, this blog is created to share with you guys, our friends in mission how the Lord reaches out to the igorot tribes and the rest of the mountain people and how the Lord greatly provides for missionaries who see the burden more than their needs!!!
